Terms of use
These are the rules for using Sentenzia, by HLR Studio. There aren't many and they're meant seriously: you play with real people sitting at the same table.
1. Age
Sentenzia is for people 16 and over. The Spicy 18+ pack is only for tables where everyone is an adult, and the presidency confirms it when switching it on.
2. The table rule
Laugh with someone, never at them. Sentenzia is about what people do and would do, never about who people are. If someone doesn't want a case, skip it with “Not this case”, no explanation needed: no means no.
3. What you write
Your player name, your pleas and your inbox cases are your content and you're responsible for them. Not allowed:
- anything about someone's looks, weight, health, who they love, where they're from, their religion, their views or their money;
- insults, threats, harassment, or anything written to humiliate someone;
- anything about people who aren't in the room, or anyone's personal details (phone numbers, addresses…);
- anything illegal.
4. How it's moderated
A server-side filter checks what you write before anyone sees it and, if something doesn't pass, tells you why; your vote still counts. In the room, anyone can cover a plea for everyone (the crossed-out eye next to it) and skip a case with “Not this case”; the presidency can remove a player, whose inbox cases go with them, and also block them from the courts it opens (with no accounts, the block applies to that device).
What's written lives and dies with the room: we don't keep pleas to review them later. To report any illegal content, or a catalogue case that shouldn't be there, write to hello@hlrstudio.dev: a case that breaks these rules is taken down the same day. If we remove something, we say why.
5. The vote is secret
Nobody knows who you voted for, not even us: votes are counted and deleted. Don't try to find out someone else's vote or to vote in their name.
6. The Presidency Pass
It's a one-time payment made in Apple's or Google's store: it unlocks every pack, today's and future ones, Spicy 18+ (always with the presidency's confirmation) and My decks. Only whoever opens the court needs it: the jury plays free with their packs, from the web too. It isn't a subscription and we'll never turn it into one.
The purchase stays with your store account; if you change phones or reinstall, get it back with “Restore purchase”. Refunds are handled by the store under its own rules. It isn't sold on the web.
7. The service
We do our best to keep the game running, but there may be outages or changes. Rooms are deleted shortly after they close (see the privacy policy).
Each player is responsible for what they write and what they do at the table. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Contact and law
Write to hello@hlrstudio.dev or from Settings › Write to us. Spanish law applies, without prejudice to the rights the law of your country gives you.
